    We are a private equity fund manager focused on the Brazilian real estate and credit markets, the largest in Latin America by assets under management, according to PERE 2013, 2014, and 2016 (Private Equity Real Estate). Since our inception, HSI has raised over US$ 4 billion through seven different funds.

Our investment formats include both asset acquisition and development, and investments in portfolio companies, while in our credit division we focus on the middle market.

    HSI IV US$ 663 million in commitments  HSI expands investments in shopping centers, and begins investing in the hospitality and self-storage sectors. Ranked number 36 in PERE'S 2013 Annual Ranking of the Largest Private Equity Real Estate firms worldwide.     CREDIT STRATEGY LAUNCHED HSI diversifies operations with a new investment strategy focused on structured credit transactions for middle-market companies.

  • 2012

    HSI IS FOUNDED   Prosperitas Investimentos undergoes corporate restructuring, and becomes Hemisferio Sul Investimentos.

  • 2011

    PROSPERITAS INDUSTRIAL BRL 530 million in commitments.  Co-investment vehicle for joint investing with PREP III in the Bracor acquisition.

  • 2010

    PROSPERITAS III US$ 765 million in commitments.  Investments in logistics and industrial assets, corporate buildings, and shopping centers. Prosperitas makes its first portfolio company investment and acquires a controlling interest in Cipasa.
